Stones are important for home constructing. Stones plays important role for both exterior and interior designing of the home. Stones are used for various purposes at home construction. From building beautiful walls of the house to decoration pieces, stones are used. The only thing that differs is the type of stone to be used. Stones differ into artificial and natural stones. Though both are used respectively for construction of house.

Artificial stones are generally used for exterior of the house like walls, pavements, and top roof flooring. Whereas natural stones provides aesthetic value to the house. East or West home is the best. Home is a place where heart dwells. No matter it is big or small for all living beings home is the best. It is the place where one spends his entire life. - For new house, walls should be kept simple so that when furniture, wall decors and accessories, are placed rooms will not look cluttered. Bright colors should be avoided. For making walls beautiful paint walls white with moldings or cornice on the ceiling edge and baseboards.
- Before buying furniture measure the size of room, accordingly furniture should be bought. Design of the furniture should match the environment. Big furniture should be avoided, which can be taken care easily should be placed. There should be ample spaces to walk around furniture. Match different styles of stuff, like contemporary furniture with oriental pieces. But they should not be blend together.
- For making rooms bigger, use of mirror is good. They give an illusion of more space. Colors too affect the illusion of space. A monochromatic color scheme (one/similar color with different shades) like off whites, cream & beige marbles will give appearance of more space while warm colors like red and yellow will give an impression of a smaller space. While cool colors like blue and green will give an openness appearance. Using different textured marbles we can create such effects very easily.
- While choosing a new color for a wall, paint a section of the wall and observe for few days at different times. It is a good idea to paint one shade lighter than sample swatch. Always, the color on your sample will look brighter on a big wall than on a small swatch. Avoid using gloss paints. They show imperfections especially in night.
